The side channel blowers FPZ are used in many industries. Among these, the textile industry, in which blowers are used not only to brush, dry and iron the fabrics, but also to operate the frames for fabrics manufacturing in the most efficient way.

Central vacuum systems

These systems are characterized by the use of suction blowers set at a maximum vacuum of 400 mbar. They are used for homogeneous products in different sizes and for non-homogeneous products of different nature and characteristics which may be also very different between them. The vacuumed material is normally accumulated in an underneath storage unit and moved manually.

Fabric dryers
Fabrics must be washed and rinsed in clean water after the dyeing process. To remove the water gently, the fabrics are passed on a suction blade featured by an adjustable slit that sucks air removing most of the water soaked. 
The use of air knives for drying and draining allows energy savings and also significantly speeds up the processing times.

Ironing machine

Yarns are usually wound on a spool that bend them in a curved shape. Since it is necessary to stretch them during the processing, often a blower is used, that thanks to the steam injected, softens the fibre structure so as to distend them.

Frames for stockings

During knitting, the blower blows compressed air that is used to keep in position the already knitted part of the sock so that the needle can work freely. When the processing is finished, all the stockings are sucked to be moved to another container for subsequent processing.

Solvent recovery
Fabrics are treated or dyed using solvents whose excess must be removed.
The side channel blower circulates air, which can be hot or cold, to separate the solvent from the fabric, condense it and move it into the containers.

Vacuumed Cutting Tables

Vacuumed cutting tables are used to facilitate the positioning of heavy fabric rolls to be processed. The cutting table is featured by a perforated surface where the blower creates a cushion of air vacuum that leads the roll in position and holds the fabric in position allowing the machining.

Knitwear waste machines
Waste textiles are created in all types of fabric manufacturing. To clear the work areas from waste, the blowers suck up the waste in a tank.

Thread guide

During fabric processing, it is often necessary to change the reel. Thanks to the suction blower use, the thread ends are automatically tensioned, cut when the thread is finished and moved back in front of the blowers to be kept tensioned during the yarn change.
