Biogas applications for FPZ’s products.
FPZ products and systems, to maximize efficiency and energy efficiency.
In the world of sustainable energy, biogas represents a promising resource for the future. FPZ provides cutting-edge solutions for the production process, highlighting the role fundamental with its products in maximizing production and ensure optimal efficiency.
FPZ products are specially designed for use in ATEX environments.
FPZ side channel blowers guarantee efficient biogas extraction, while the Doseuro dosing pumps allow precise dosing of treatment agents. Arivent industrial fans ensure adequate air recirculation, optimizing conditions digestion
and ensuring production continuous biogas.
Furthermore, the Evo series offers advantages in terms of energy efficiency, while we check consumption carefully to meet needs of our customers.

Power supply from organic material
Conveyor rollers carry substrates (manure, corn, silage, agricultural waste) to the hopper, starting the process of biogas production.

Biodigesters
The substrates are digested in reactors. Arivent fans maintain external pressure. Liquid waste is sanitized at high temperatures, while the FPZ blowers and Arivent fans transfer biogas for desulphurisation.

Power supply from controlled landfill
The anaerobic degradation of organic material from solid waste sent to landfill is vacuumed through a collection system consisting of extraction wells.

Gas collector
Each collection element is connected from a pipe to one of the placed collectors on the perimeter of the landfill. They have the function to regulate the collection flow by means of valves and monitoring systems. The FPZ blower is used to capture biogas.

Biogas pretreatment with desulphurisation
Desulphurisation cleans the biogas removing H2S, moisture and filtering it. The FPZ blower comes into action immediately afterwards, sucking and conveying the biogas to the next phase. The Arivent fan conveys the gases through the scrubber.

Flare System
The Arivent fan, suitable for high temperatures and ATEX environments, conveys the exhausted gases to the combustor. Torches burn excess biogas, with the FPZ blower pushing the gas under pressure.

Cogeneration Plant
Allows simultaneous production of electrical and thermal energy. The Otto cycle engine produces energy mechanics and conveys it to an alternator to generate electricity.

Compression
The blower is used as compressor booster for putting the gas under compression allowing correct execution of the next phase (Upgrading).

Upgrading for Biomethane production
This phase allows the purification of the Biogas at the end to obtain biomethane suitable for injection into the network or the power supply of vehicles. The biogas passes through the membranes to separate CO2 from methane. The biomethane destined for the domestic network is odorized via Doseuro dosing pumps to detect any leaks.

Service stations and home network
Biomethane can be stored and compressed in the cylinders of the fueling stations, used as a booster for compressors of vehicles using FPZ blowers or entered into the home network.
