FPZ designs and manufactures internally advanced solutions for noise reduction aimed at side channel blowers. Our acoustic enclosures are designed to perfectly integrate all versions of monoblock machines (MOR), with extensive customization options extended even to elastic joint configurations (GOR).
This constructive approach allows for meeting the most stringent requirements of the industrial market, ensuring that every soundproofing system responds with precision to specific installation needs and the flow volumes required by production processes.

Construction Types of Industrial Acoustic Enclosures
The range is divided into two macro-categories to adapt to different operational contexts. On one hand, industrial acoustic enclosures with aluminum frames and sheet metal panels offer a dedicated soundproof base that makes them easily palletizable.
On the other hand, versions made entirely of sheet metal stand out for their structural robustness and minimized volumetric footprint. Both solutions are the result of a design optimization based on the blower model, ensuring maximum power density in the smallest possible space.
SC Series: Logistical Efficiency and Reduced Footprint
The introduction of the new generation of SC series enclosures, erede to the previous IH line, represents a significant technological leap. Thanks to rigorous laboratory tests and verifications, FPZ has managed to reduce the total volume of the structures by up to one-third compared to past standards.
These new acoustic enclosures not only optimize space in workshops but have also been designed to be stackable and easily movable via pallet jacks.
Outdoor Operation and Protection of Industrial Exhausters
In the new series, particular attention has been paid to the IP protection degree of the fans used for the forced extraction of internal hot air.
The increase in the IP rating allows for the installation of industrial acoustic enclosures even in outdoor environments. This feature ensures the protection of the blower’s electromechanics from atmospheric agents, while maintaining optimal operating temperatures to guarantee component longevity and system reliability. This protection is critical when using an acoustic enclosure for compressor applications where external conditions are harsh.
Technical Details of Sheet Metal Acoustic Enclosures
The variants made entirely of sheet metal are optimized to maximize accessibility during maintenance phases. The cover is equipped with a double hinge that allows for full opening from 0 to 90°.
Furthermore, the presence of a double support rod allows for a safe partial opening, facilitating quick inspections without having to remove heavy panels. A quick-closing system completes the technical profile, guaranteeing a perfect acoustic seal and a reduction in technical intervention times on internal machines.
Structural Features of Acoustic Enclosures with Aluminum Frames
For applications requiring mechanical stability and handling versatility, versions with aluminum frames offer cutting-edge solutions. Ground fixing is guaranteed by two specific brackets that ensure stability even in the presence of residual vibrations.
The dedicated soundproof base not only contributes to the reduction of structure-borne noise but also acts as a load-bearing structure that makes the unit palletizable. These features make them excellent acoustic enclosures for pumps and complex blower systems.
System Integration and ATEX Compliance
FPZ industrial acoustic enclosures are compatible with the entire production range, including K Series blowers, the monoblock R Series, and the EVO Series equipped with Smartwave™ technology.
To operate in explosion-risk environments, ATEX-certified acoustic enclosures are available, guaranteeing the regulatory safety necessary for the treatment of technical gases, methane, and biogas.
